ok im lookin to buy a header for my 97 gsr...well im deciding b/t dc sports or a greddy header...due to the fact i could not afford a comptech ...but out of those 2 which would yall recommend more...or if theres nething else in that price range name it...thanx

 

both manufacturers make a dozen kinds for your car.

Can you clarify if youre looking for 4-1, 4-2-1, stanless steel, etc....

You can help yourself here by being a bit more specific with your questions.

well if youre choosing between the dc and greddy 4-2-1 SS, theyll run you about the same price and put out about the same numbers, get what you find the better deal on

i cant get a comptech im 16 with a shitty job gettin 6 n hour and payin insurance payments and i coundlt afford it

If it were me, I'd get a DC JDM 4-1, and then get a Carsound cat and custom exhaust after saving up a little bit.

 

i was plannin to get the greddy evo 2 or the apex ws and highflow cat after i get the header

I own a 95 gsr with a 4-1 Dc sports header hollowed out cat and a Dc sports catback system it sounds great not too loud until you get into the high revs

 

i got a GReddy SS 4-2-1 1 piece header on my 94 GSR, and i really like it, noticable low end differeance. and its about $50 cheaper than the DC. Also, FYI, GReddy doesnt make a 2 peice for the GSR, atleast im pretty sure they dont.
