dead battery question

Default dead battery question

ok in my 94 EX which is parked in my driveway (not registered long story) I goto start it up every few days and the battery is dead. then i go threw the process of recharging it and putting it back. anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Even a new battery loses like 3% of it's charge per day just sitting there (no not a linear drop but an inverse exponential i think). So anyways, an old battery will just go dead after a few days of just sitting. Best thing to do for an unused car is disconnect the battery alltogether.

well see. the basic component of batteries consists of a cathode and an anode. in car batteries its a little different.
