sorry I am only familiar with the Mastermind from Milton Bradley, and I dont think it has a **** for retarding timing just four coloured pie shaped buttons.

Any NOS computer should retard timing for you or let you do it.

I am not aware of a product by NOS that retards timing. I know they make computers that adjust the time the nitrous is activated and step controllers that adjust the amount of nitrous used.

If you want to adjust timing, get the MSD unit or the APEX'i Super ITC. The ITC allows you to use different timing adjustments depending on rpm.

I clear it Big JIM, I did not mean NOS the company but I think their NOS programmer will let you retard timing on the programming unit. plus they have an individual timing computer for 8cyl. should work on a 4 also, you can advance or retard spark for each cylinder.

well im getting it soon summit sells it for 248.69 part# JAC-383406

you can retrd ur timing up to 15 degrees. only when u spray. allowing u to run stock timing when the nitorus is not in use.

alows u to preset what RPM you want the nitorus to activate, allowing u never to accidently spray at low rpm.

adjustable soft touch rev limiter. also at 500 rpm beofre u hit the rev limiter the nitorus shuts off . so no more worries on hitting the rev limit.

tells u when nitorus is flowing

mastermind comes with a fuel pressure safty switch. turns nitorus off when or if ur fuel supply is low.

the coolest part i think makes ur nitorus work in stages meaning lets say u use 100 shot nozzle so when ur racing when u hit lets say 3500rpm a 50 shot will go first then then 4500rpm 75 shot, at 5500rpm the full 100 shot will spray all the way to redline.

and a few more cool functions.

hope this helps

The Mastermind looks like it would work great in theory. From personal experience, it doesn't live up to it's claims.
