ok, i wanna know if this is possible or not. PUT a ls head on a b16 block. I know i would have to plug the oil line in the block, and most likely have to use the ls headbolts. BUT what about a Timing Belt??? Just use the b16 belt?????

I know this is a dumb idea, please dont post back saying WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT????
MY motor is blown up, it needs to rebuilt and this is all i have for the mean time, this is just a temporary fix. So i just need to know what i need to make this run...

when you swap a different head on, you usually use the timing belt for the head.

 

Your t belt has to match up to your water pump. If you have a b16 water pump, ust a vtec belt If you have an ls pump, use an ls belt.

 

yep, just use the belt that corresponds with your water pump.
