hey i was just wondering what that black part is around the bottom of the dsm injectors. i recieved some dsm injectors and none of them came with that black piece around the bottom of them. please help. thanks alot

i can't remember what they call em but any carburetor/fuel injection shop will have them. while you're at it, have them cleaned and flow tested. it would suck to blow your motor because of a bad injector!

 

the lower injector seal is what I call it but they sell them as a total seal kit usually anyways.

napa has them for like 3 buck per injector seal kit.

some places will try to rape you for like 12-15.00 a seal kit and thats way too expensive for just 1 injectors seals imo... so watch out for those places.

 

Do you mean the black rubber grommets or the dark plasic caps that cover the very tip of the injector?

He could be referring to the pintle cups. Most fuel injector shops will have replacement pintle cups as well as grommets. Otherwise the grommets can be sourced from auto parts stores.

 

yeah i was talking about the part that goes around the bottom kinda like a cup. thanks for all the help
