ANyone familiar with them? Had a guy call today trying to sell me some.

they have been around forever. I have a friend who has a Porsche that he drives every day, that makes 850 to the tire and runs those. Porsche Mike is a sick man when it comes to those cars, and he would use them, if they weren't good

mahle pistons are good quality i saw and spoke with rep.. at SEMA and they also have the new box design used in f1 cars.

They look like a good product judging by their backgroung, i would have used them in my setup but didn't hear about them in time, i think they only make forged

they have close contacts with the academic institutions that participate in forumla SAE. i have an article that tells about a recent engine that they developed to prove their products sort of speak, but i cant put the images up if someone can help me out i can scan the article n send it to you. it doesnt really tell much of what you guys are looking for but it shows something about the company. the eibach guy might be able to post up more good info about the pistons *i see an eibach sticker on the side of the race car*

I've seen lots of Mahle pistons on aircooled VW's, they are pretty good from what i've heard.
