Ok, here's the deal, the dealership I go to is replacing my drivers side leathre seat, due to it having a stain on it.... It looks jut like a sweat stain or somethng, but do not know how it got there. If anyone has a problem like that with their leather, take it to your dealer... Anyways, back o th topic, the hood on my 2000 GSR has like a bump look to it, meaning that if you go over it left to right, or vice versa, there are dips in the hood as you go over it. It looks like dents, but not sure as to what it is... Does anyone hve sort of an "uneveness" in their hood?? Is it normal?? Should I try to have them replace my hoo under warranty?? or wouldit be a watse of my time??? Any help woill be greatly appreciated...

 

Next time look at the other cars on the lot to see if they are the same way.

 

I've noticed the same thing on a couple of brand new NSx's, but haven't been able to look for it on another integra... Just wanna know if I shoul make a big deal about it with the dealership, or if it something normal on the tegs...

 

yeah i know what ur talking about with the hoods. it should be like that, as long as the dips are even on both sides, which they should be.

 

the hood is not totally flat.. it kinda buldges on the each side. im sure ya know what i mean!

 

I don't think this is related to your "Hood Bumps", but here goes anyway.

Most (?All?) Hondas have "Orange Peel" in their paint. It looks like ripples in the paint.
This is because the factory paint they use is very "dry".

This is probably not what you are trying to explain, but something we should all be aware of anyway.

on the topic of warrantys should our warrantys be valid at a honda dealership or do u have to go to an acura dealership? and will the warranty be valid at any acura dealership or just the one u bought the car from? i think my seat is deffective to!!

Any Acura dealer.

What on earth could be wrong with your seat?
I'm sure they will help you out if it is something safety related, like the seat belt harness is broken etc.

 

i thinks it a defect in the leather. Its kind of imprinted in two spots. Kind of hard to exlpain. i took it once to him and he just told me it comes off a animal and cant do nothin about it, however i think he was BS me.
