what kinda turbo on a WRX?

i can get a good deal on a stock wrx turbo.

are the t4? t3? what kinda manifold will i need?

its definitely neither... you are most likely to need a custom flanged manifold...

It's a tiny IHI, they have a wierd 3 bolt flange. You can find one off any turbo Subaru from the 80's on up.

Mitsu unit? Alright, but I know it shares the 80's turbo Scooby flange with the IHI RHB5's that came on those cars... the Turbo Justy's manifold flange was sourced off a WRX, runs an 80-something RX IHI RHB5.

yeah the sti come with an IHI turbo (not sure which one) but the wrx's come with the mitsu unit. i', not sure, but i think some of the overseas wrx's may come with the IHI turbo too...
