Default Going out on a limb here about JDM type-r fronts...

Anyways I've thought about this for some time and might be wrong but I had to put this thought out which I'm sure I'm not alone.

Could we not use the radiator support from say a prelude (the one before this last one) or the older accord (with similar front as the prelude).
Fenders could come from the same cars
Hood as well.

On SS they have that ine red eg and it mentions using stock bumpers I would assume same rad support.

What do you guys think?

why are giving attitude man?. Of course you would need JDM lights and front but then if this fitted it woule eliminate having to buy the rest JDM, thus being more cost effective.

I hate to tell you but thats not cost affective, To replace the same parts in the JDM kit with USDM parts is almost the same amount of money.
BTW if your doing a JDM conversion, if the Rad Support is in perfect condition, you can just replace the top center and inner headlight brackets from the JDM to USDM

I see you're trying to ghetto rig a JDM front end.

i think "ghetto" rig would be a more appropriate term

Yea but Booker T is the 5 time WCW champion and the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. (Sure he is, right. So is the spin-a-rooni) So whatever he says goes.

Can I get a Rocky chant please?

Sorry No pics, But if you had the JDM & USDM side by side you would notice that the only different pieces of it are the Top, Center, and 2 lower headlight brackets. also you have to remove the 2 USDM lower headlight brackets

And expanding on the thought of being "ghetto" why don't we termed it as "not giving in to spending as much for the same outcome" I really doubt that JDM and US are that much of a difference it would not be cost effective for a carmaker to remahufacture the whole front, maybe interchangeparts a bit. cuts down on expenses and keeps profits something shareholders want.
