Where can I get a IACV

Default Where can I get a IACV

My cars idleing is crap. It hops up and down and it is starting to get kinda embarrising. Does anybody know a cheap place to get a used one or is anbody selling one? I have a 90 hf with a DOHC ZC

if i remember correctly, any 88-91ef si/ex will do, 90-93integras will work. there's more, but too lazy to check. to be more specific a little, you have the long version of the iacv, where the two bolt holes are farther apart.

are you sure that it is our iacv? usually when it jumps up and down then it is the throttle control sensor, check our codes.

At first i wasnt sure what it was so i took it to a shop and they said it was my IACV. Also, when i clean it out, it idles pretty normal, but that doesnt work anymore.

If you have an air pocket in the cooling system it can do this too. There are multiple things that can cause this.

take your intake off and block the holes in the throttle body with your fingers. if the idle cleans up just make some sort of gasket that blocks it off completely. it will never happen again. your car wont have a cold idle anymore but wont surge all the time and look like a pos. i've always done it and always will.
