I recently bought a stock 1996 JDM Honda Integra Type R. I'm in love with the car.I WANTED TO BOOST THE CAR. But I was wondering if it can be with the stock compression(11:1). I read that on the USDM that they can be done on stock internals (10 psi). I wanted to get a Greedy kit (I wanted a kit that is mainly bolt-on). Any help or comments would be really helpful
test the motor, compression, leakdown.. leaks, anything you could find.. from there, greddy kit would be an overkill in my opinion.. its internally wastegated.. so you'll end up chaning manifold once you don't like it.. i had great response on t3/t04b 50trim .48 a/r.. it was very responsive and provided hp to the top end.
if your motor is in good condition, the rest will be to good fuel managment and making no mistakes. 11:1 compression will yeld good responsive car while it last.
