Why are you changing the engine just to go to OBD1?

well, you'd also need some sort of obd-1 to obd-2 conversion harness. Also a cable tranny.

i just put an obd1 b16a integra xsi in my crx. get a jumper harness from blown90hatch. if you go with the same motor i did it is already obd1 so no looking for a obd1 distributor or 4 wire o2 or injectors (you can use the stock ones, just keep the resistor box). and im not sure if you can get the xsi without the tranny or not from hmotorsonline.com, but the xsi already comes with a ys1 cable tranny. i hear they are pretty good. i haven't been able to find out for myself yet. and what other electronics did you have in mind besides the ones i listed?

The B16A2 is a USDM OBD-2 engine.

Are you talking about an OBD-1 2nd-gen JDM B16A?

The only B16 that came on our shores that was obd-1 was the B16A3. It came in the del sol vtec. The B17A1 found in the Integra GsR was also OBD-1. The B16A siR II sold in Japan in the civic siR was obd-1 aswell for a few years

The B16A3 is the USDM OBD-1 B16A. Came in '94-95 del Sol VTEC.
