Looking for your .02
If you had the money to do either. Would you do a H22 swap or F23 turbo?
What in your opinion are the pros and cons of both? Thanks in advance
PS..main focus is reliability

i would choose the turbo f series motor...
most people see that the H series longblocks are only $1500 shipped and think that it's much cheaper to do this way, but let me tell you, there are a lot of little hidden costs...either you don't get all the sensors, you don't get all the parts, your parts are broken etc...The costs are just about the same between both options...
I personally own an accord with an H22 in it...I am mildly impressed, but I know that the turbo f would be so much more fun to drive...you would be pushing about 40 hp more and about 60 more ft/lbs more to the wheels with the turbo motor vs the series....
and as far as reliability goes, the f series motors are very strong from the factory to begin with...at 8.8:1 compression, not much can go wrong in any situation...it also has a very long stroke which is a huge bonus for forced induction motors and will yield tons of tourque...
...i just wish i would have made such a decision before i converted my car to accept the h22...

I don't know, that's a tough decision. Since it's going into a show car, that DOHC VTEC valve cover just looks so pretty under that hood, but everybody else has done it. I would have to say F23 because not only will it make more power, but that turbo would look good sitting under that hood. When am I going to see a Yamaha R6 sitting in the garage?!

I just got a h22. My freind just got my sohc vtec into his accord dx. We gonna boost it, so soon the best of forced induction and all motor is about to collide. Go with the f23 turbo i am already jealous of my old motror.
