in my 2000 civic what would be better my b16a2 or a b20 ??? i bet this one is a no brainer but iunno help me out --- other words which one will lead me to victory in the 1/4

(b16 tranny)

What setup are you looking to run? What are you trying to acheive? (N/A, Turbo, top speed, high rpms, more torque, etc....) Need to be a little more specific.

^ yeah, there are a lot of things one has to considor before making that decision. You should search to see what other people have said they were going to do with them. If their opinoins are similar to yours it might answer your question.

I'm going to have to agree with the posts above, but if you really want my vote go for the B20, more displacement and should cost you alot less for the swap.

I say keep what you have. If you want, drop a C1 block in there and have you a poor man's type R or boost that B16.
