Default I needhelp with the H/C guage in a 93 honda accord.....

My girlfriend drives a 93 accord auto w/ 115,000 miles and it just had a waterpump change. when we are at a still the gauge sometimes go to the normal line but when we pull off it goes down to COLD like below the line. what could this be?

Possible the thermostat is sticking. At any rate I would check all hoses while your at it and check coolant level. Hope this helps.

Take it out and see, I don't know of any other tricks, but usually a tell tale sign is when your temp guage fluctuates.

Might wanna try backflushing the radiator. I've done that to a couple friends cars, you wouldn't believe the **** that comes out sometimes.
