i dont really hit full boost until around high 5s. DRAG3. but my friend LS civic hits it much sooner with the same kit.

 

I don't get full boost till nearly 4K on my GReddy kit Damn stock DP, cat and exahust are choking my turbo!

 

~3200 for me.

5th gear floored from ~idle for max load. Positive pres. ~ 1200RPM. 2psi by ~1500. 4psi by ~1800. Starts climbing fast at ~2500.

 

i hit full boost t04s at 4200 rpm but thats full race though big *** compressor trim.

 

b18b... what compression r u running? and whats ur bore and stroke?

 

About 3500 here with my shitty exhaust probably could spool slightly faster once I open it up to 3". bTW VTC GET AN EXHAUST!!

compression is JE flattop 10:1 pistons with 83mm bore.

 

How about the drag kit on a b16a2? someone told me 6000k .. this with 3 " thermal exhuast thanx

 

must be smoking crack 6k there no way std drag kit will need to spool that high. It more like 3200

 

GSR w/ Drag III - full boost (6psi) @ 4000 rpm

 

i hit my max of 29psi at around 6300rpm on my T60-2, it is scary when you hear this pinwheel wind up.

 

Full 8psi @ 4000rpm with the Rev-hard.

 

Full boost at 4800-4000 rpm 7psi DRAG 3 GSR.

What are you hoping to learn from this post? People with all sorts of different engines and setups are replying. Of course the spool up time is going to be different for everyone of these people. If you're looking for "standard" kits on stock cars, you'll only find a couple on this board.

 

making the assumtion that a stock GSR with stock Revhard kit will spool to 7psi at 4000rpm.. How many extra RPM's would it take to spool to around 14psi?

No, its a full street car with some race modifications, - thats how I answer the cops around here. car looks bone stock exterior. its basically an LS integra with built block, My own stage 3 head, ACT clutch, DFI marine unit, RC 850's, mixed up gearing, the new turbo (t60-2) was for an all track car that I scooped and tuned to just about be streetable with the EBC. got bored spent 3 days deburring the head, went thru like 5 carbide tips, think my head weighs 5 pounds less (not recomended), copper head gasket, o -ringed head, lightened flywheel, 7025 aluminum retainers, crower dual prings, manley exhaust valves, stock intake valves, sheet metal intake manifold, Ford 75mm throttle body,halmeter, GReddy EGT, crappy laptop - good program, LSD, home made shafts, no wing no stickers no effects, etc etc.
It does 10's now day or night, hot or cold, rain shine or snow!

my built D16Y8 gets to 18psi at about ~4000rpm - IHI RHF5 ballbearing turbo, engine is at 8.2:1 compression

 

10psi at 4k custom xs-engineering turbo

 

DRAG3 kit at 5lbs... spools at 2000rpms and reaches full boost at about 4500rpms

 

29psi???? oh shizzznitttt!!!!!!
