Okay I know this guy that is a big brother for the big brother program to this kid that has a brother that has a b16a. The kid got kicked out of his house and his mom found the motor and just wants to get rid of it FOR FREE!!! the motor is the complete changover. tranny Ecu axles motor EVERYTHING!!!! I just need to find out if its hot. I have a number but the guy that got it doesn't know anything about hondas and I don't know if it the actuall vin #. I was wondering if you can run a vin from the motor on carfax or you have to do something else. So what I'm saying is I need somebody to run a car fax or tell me someother way to check the vin. the # is 5203873.

I may be dumb but I would probly take the swap first then wonder.

vin #'s for cars are longer than that

 

it's not the car just the motor.

 

If it is a jdm motor t doenst matter. You can tell if it is by the intake manifold saying pgfi on it then its first gen. Doenst matter that way

Also if its a us motor call you state police and give them the block number they can check on it. But Im guessing its a jdm motor and those numbers mean nothing. So go get that swap!

 

ITS FREE. even if its stolen you can take it and take the tranny off dump the engine (or turn it in to the police) and buy a long block for 600. bam you have a legit b16 for under 1000

 

Yeah screw it I'm getting it like the guy in a earlier post said nothings better than a good B16 thats FREE well maybe there is something better but this is an EXELENT DEAL and I'm not letting it pass me by! I'm gonna try and pick up the motor tomorrow!!! thanks oh and just for my knowledge why does it not matter if its stolen if it's JDM? but yeah the dumping the motor and keeping the tranny if it was stolen is exactly what I was thinking and actually I was looking to do a B18a/b and that tranny would work with the it wouldn't it b--&gt;b. but I'm getting it. the guy said that it's actually almost a whole front end. for free Sorry for the rambling but I'm FRIGGIN EXCITED!!!!!!!!! almost to the point of cargazm!!!!

Well I took it. I have a new B16a sitting in my garage and the only cost was the 1/8th tank of gas it took to pick it up from accross town .
As for the d15 I Will be Selling it when the time comes. cant sell a motor that I'm using. YES I finally got the lucky break took me 19 years to do so but I got it. Also how is the S1 tranny? thats what it came with just wondering?
