Default turbo'n a 93 Teg

ok, i see alot of people turbo'n the VTEC B series motors, but i want to turbo my B18a. i'm going to put eagle rods/ JE pistons, block guard on the bottom end. but what would give me the best results for the head ?
i was thinking the crower valve springs and crower turbo cams. some adj. cam gears. stainless steel valves, 3 angle valve job. port/polish.

what else should be done? am i forgetting anything?

the turbo kit will be a custom fabricated by myself.

i'm hoping for 300+ whp. right now...

eventually i want to boost it to 26 psi for the strip.

also what should i use for the LS motor as far as ECU goes? should i use hondata or PMS or?

thanks in advance

I'd seriously look nto gettin a B20 motor, its a DIRECT swap. All u need is the motor, no harness or nuttin.

You can then turbo that and get way more gains out of it.

You got it all, pretty much, remember u need some INJECTORS!!!!

B20 from CRV? the whole motor or just the block and use my LS head?
i could probably look for a B17 crank to have the right R/S ratio

yeah bigger injectors, what size would be good for 500 whp?
cant hurt to have a lil more than i need.

Is 26psi a number you picked out of the air? You will need to sleeve the block to boost this high.

i've been told that VTEC really doesnt help with high boost.

i would be completely building the head..
and turbo's dont like cam overlap so u cant get to radical with cams anyway.. so Crower turbo cams will be fine.

do you think a t3/t4 can produce 400+whp?
with the proper upgraded fuel system.. what size injectors to use?

"BTW u guys need to get b20 out of your head. unless you are building a b20/vtec you wont notice the difference in torque between an ls / crv and you lose 10hp (and u will notice that)
the b20 is an awful motor with no kind of top end, the only thing it is good for is slapping a vtec head on that b!@#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially when going turbo you wont notice the difference either cus both setups will feel fast."

the reason for that is the bad intake and exhaust manifold design. but if he gets the b20 hes not even gonna use those components. you should know there is no replacement for displacement even with turbo. b20 would be great for boost just get some good rods.
