how much boost on stock type r?
Trending Topics
Go to Hondata.com & look @ the SC'd 98 R with 11 psi of boost. I think it's something like 262 whp. I could have a lotta fun with that.
<---- 84k miles stock internals, inline pro head gasket and block gaurd, FMU, missing link, 255lph fuel pump, vafc and 450cc injectors I ran 15psi all day on 93 octane and went 13.0@109mph on street tires and stock exhaust on that set up.

all day everyday for the entire summer. and that is mish mash fuel system. base timing was set at 13 degrees no BTM. I am goin hondata this year but people have made that last on cars over 100k miles....the head gasket drops compression a full point

If you can drop the comp. which the headgasket does, the internals will have no problem handling 300+/- WHP.

Bone stock B18C6, 11.1 cr @ 10psi street tuned afr only. Timing static retard 4deg... Fuelling by AFC hack. Running for a year now... Its my only driver, shopping trolley AND track car. Both 10psi street, shop or track
Get some ARP or AEBS head studs to keep the head from lifting when you go into boost. That with Hondata/Uberdata/EMS, larger injectors, T3/T04E 50 trim compressor wheel with a .48 A/R turbine housing and a Cometic head gasket you should be able to lay down 280WHP with a good tune.
