I'm running the afc hack with -36 to -38 across the board. I can't figure out why my car won't start. When i look on the AFC screen, it says that my PRS is up and my car isn't even running. I have DSM 450cc injectors and i installed that on right. I have obd1 injector clips and i can't figure out y it doesn't work. I see gas all over the intake mani when i try to start it and now it won't even choke, i twist the key and it's like starting the car w/o pushing down the clutch. I do have a resistor box but it's the kinda round one, not the blocky ones that i see online in the "how to's". I hope i didn't mess up my car. I tried trial and error with the wiring and everytime the car wouldn't even get close to starting. Something else i noticed was that today the afc resets everytime i take the key out of the car. this is driving me nuts!! i want to test drive my car w/ boost sometimes soon....please help.

 

sounds like afc wiring problems...

check your afc wiring and all connections... did you use crimp on connections or did ya solder them?

 

Definetly wiring, check all your connections, including injectors and resistor box.

 

also try to start it with the stock injectors, and stock wiring to confirm that its not your injector wiring as well. make sure you follow the directions to the afc good and ground the brown and black wires correctly.
