Default need help fast (autotrans)

what is up? lol , listen guys for the first time i am doing an engine swap by my self. now i need help fast so if u know something please say it. when i drive sometimes when i step on the gas pedale the car won't accelerate. instead the pedal becomes hard. it stays like that for 10 seconds then it accelerates again. when this happens sometimes i push the gas pedal to the end and i hear some cranking noises from the engine compartent then the car accelerates fast like nothing has happent. i checked the thowte body and everything is ok. might it be the auto trans???? if yes what should i look for in the autotrans, because i am taking it out so i can make the engine swap. i need help fast because i might do the swap this week, and i don't wanna keep the (engine lift) for long becaue its like $30/day at the place where i am going to rent it . so please help fast fast fast. i will have pic of the swap so u can see what kind of work a newbi can do. lol
(sorry for my english if i wasn't clear enough so please bare with me?

What do you mean? You can't push it (the pedal) down anymore? Also, probably why no one has given much info is your post is kinda hard to understand. Investing a few more minutes and using SPACES helps alot.

what i mean is that the gas pedal gets very hard. u need to aply force to the pedale so u can push it. when u push it to the end i can hear some cranking noises from the engine compartment and then the car accelerates. before it accelerates the rpm don't move they stay where they are

that's the throttle cable binding at some point. It sounds like the angle of your cable is out of whack as it attaches to the throttle body. Check the mount-points and how you've routed it asap - that's dangerous to be driving around like that.

WTF.. an F22 in a civic? You aren't gonna beat him by buying parts for $100, but if you reduce the weight of your car you might have a chance. Your friend with the EG is already several hundred pounds lighter than your car. I'd say get an ebay header and then take any non-essential interior parts out to reduce the weight.. you might have a chance.

The header wont do you much good because thats for top end mainly or if you have a turbo it will help. But is your car basically stock? Put about another 300$ with that 100$ and get some N20 and go ahead and spank him. Also like he said try to reduce weight take off your hood or take out your back seats or both.
