Default Gaining negative camber?

I've got the SPC camber kit front and rear -- very nice pieces -- however I mistakenly purchased the OE style for the front (part# 62010), rather than the more extreme version that allows more negative camber. Would it be safe to extend the slots in the arm to get more negative camber adjustment?

if possible, return them and get skunk2 arms and take the precautions discussed on this board.
