i am getting my MSD 6 BTM wired and reasy to go
i am currently working on making the wire harness that wil go inside the distribuitor into the MSD

my question!

How & what methods have u guys used to make wires fit, work, not come loose, conect and be reliable inside the distribuitor and using the stock distribuitor cap

i have been trying to find a way to clear the cables and have enough room inside dizzy to make wires fit and to avoid any cutting or anything but no luck..
theres basically no space!

what have u guys done about this?

 

I removed the coil from inside the distributor, and that leaves plenty of room for routing wires.
Just make sure the rotor and all other moving parts dont come near your wires.

Use small 16-18AWG eyelets (sp) for your connections.

 

the BTM still needs the coil to be wired to it

did u installed that externally???
if so, how the hell u get the signal to the center of the rotor in order to get spark to the plugs???

 

I hooked up a external coil, w/ a new MSD Cap made for an external coil.
