Default Tech Help

Just a few questions

1. I recentlly purchased a SOHC Vtech head from a 92 civic and was told it would fit on my 2000 civic. If so, would anyone be willig to guide me along in knowing how i could rebuild this by myself?

2. My car was lowered quite a bit and it is rubbing on the wheels well and cause one of the wheel wells to break off. Somone suggested taking the wheel well off but a buddy of mine got water all over his engine when he took his off. Another suggestion was to make my own, but I have no idea where to start. help?

3. Does anyone know just how much a DX Hatch can be lowered before camber occurs in the tires (front and back). I was planning on getting some coilovers to solve the problem myself but i would be more comfortable riding on some springs. The reason I ask is because my neuspeed springs are about shot and 1 side of my car is lowered about an inch more than the other side.

Thanks!
Chris

get new ones from certa fit. they are exactly like the factory ones but 1/3 the price.

anything lower than a stock ride will induce negative camber and toe.

My civic is a 2000 dx sohc non-vtec, and i wanted to put a sohc vtec on from a 92. will this make it lose power, and will it fit?

does certa fit have a website?

And my front wheels have no camber visible nd they are lowered because the control arms don't cross over, but the back does.

Maybe he just bought a cordless phone.

Sohc will not fit on your car if you have a DOHC obviously. Dunno if you knew that already.

The fender cladding is a good piece of plastic to have in the fender. If you drive without those in, dirt and rocks and other things get jammed inside the door jam. That cladding is the only thing protecting your fenders too. If a rock gets thrown up inside, you'll have a nice looking outty dent in the topside of your fender.

If your car is unevenly lowered, it's possible that they were installed wrong. You could have the front springs on the drivers side and the rear on the passenger side. That might not be it, but it's possible.
