Default running lean with the blue box?

when i get above 5000 rpm my a/f gauge goes from green to yellow and by the time im up to 6000 it is allmost in the red and then i get fuel cut at 6200. i have never had any problems before since i put on the kit 12,000 miles ago. it does not matter what gear im in below 5000 im rich and above 5000 it starts running lean real fast. btw its a d16z6 with a greddy kit at stock boost 5.5psi.

any help is appreciated

really odd... stock injectors? pump? My friend has the same setup and it runs pig rich up to redline - and he's creeping to around 9psi. Troubleshoot fuel system/injectors. O2 could be to blame also.

i like how you test it out by taking it to redline a lot heh

maybe one of your injectors isn't functioning properly anymore leading to the lean burn.

i would check your wiring, and if ur using an autometer a/f gauge, they really aren't that accuracte

gauge could have just gone stupid or O2 sensor is starting to go out

Sounds like the problem isn't the blue box, from what Ive seen that thing makes your car run really rich. Also I wouldn't trust my life on an Autometer a/f gauge. Those things are only for a light show .

Look into fuel system, o2 sensor, but I don't think its the Blue box.

You best bet is to beg/borrow/steal/buy a known working one and try it out. It'd be a pain to test it.

I have seen where i run so rich that my Autometer a/f gauge starts to read leaner. When i first got the greddy kit for my 93 si it did the same thing so igot scared and added a low ratio fmu and it seemed even leaner and drove bad then i got more scared and added 310cc injector and it read even leaner and ran worse so then finally i got an old shogun hyper tech fuel computer and tried to go richer only with worse results so then i figured must be to rich and it effecting the O2 reading so i dropped all the stuff but the greddy blue box and the fuel computer wich i used to slightly lean out everything a tiny bit and it ran perfect and my Guage read rich again but was still off probably due to the very dirty sensor after running so rich.

take out the o2 and see if its clogged.

make sure you use a Honda O2 not a POS universal.
