How much engine slop is "ok" for an ITR with 50K miles ???
just wondering b/c i've ben realizing in the last few thousand miles that there is a little more movement of the engine with throttle on/off. my warranty is very close to being over (80 miles), so i admit i have been realizing things that my not neccesarily be there. (although i did recently get a hub bearing replaced on a suspicion that i thought something was weird.)
anyways, i especially realize it when in higher rpms and i quickly just depress the throttle a bit and then release. mostly felt in first and second gears. I also feel it with thorottle on/off a lot when in bumper to bumper traffic and cruising and stopping consistently while never leaving first gear. i know some play is ok of course, but should i feel the engine jolt to the point that i feel the whole car jolt some as well?
thanks!
i recently ordered some motor mount inserts to help a bit with the excessive movement, but i want to make sure if something is abnormal that it's payed for by Acura...not me!
