i have a problem with one of my friends car it builds boost at idle any ideas on what it could be and idle surges too i check the coolant and it doesnt stop bubbling i add more and it still bubbles its wierd and ideas on what this could be????

 

How high, does the idle surge. Cause as im sure you know its pretty hard to build boost while under no load. Try Bleeding the coolant system. I hope the Head gasket is not on its way out. Maybe do a leak down test and go from there.

thanks for the reply it builds almost 5psi and ive tried bleeding the coolant and it just keeps bubbling i was thinking headgasket too

 

Headgasket is my guess
