Default Mugen Thin Headgasket

My friend is selling it to me for $50.00. I was wondering if it was a decent upgrade. I'm getting it for less than half price new. I was wondering if the cost of labor and the .4 increase in compression is worth gettign the product. BTW what can I expect to pay for installation.

Thanks in advance

Its worth it if ur gonna do headwork.
if not, buy the head gasket, and install it when u get more work done on ur motor, so the labour wont be as high..
Id usually tell someone to go with pistons..but for 50 bucks, its a good deal

It won't make any kind of difference I think.

You have to make a more drastic change in compression to see a nice gain.

Mill 15 off your head and do the headgasket. That'll put you around 11.4:1 I think.

Now THAT will give you like 4 or 5 ft/lbs. of torque for sure.

But if your going to mill the head anyways, why spend the extra money to buy the thin headgasket?
Just mill the mill the head to what you want.
