Default again with a 96 civic dx swap question

Hi, I'm new to the board and I tried to search for a previous topic on this, but I scrolled through a few pages and was unsure where to look so I came in here. I have a 96 honda civic dx coupe, show car and I am ready to swap the motor. Up until a few months ago, I had it all planned out. I was doing a b16a2 with a drag turbo kit. then someone brought to my attention that I can get more power out of a gsr with a turbo kit. I really wasn't interested in the h22a's or the ls/vtec. Now I am faced with the same decision to swap a b16a or a b18c. I go to street races every weekend so I'm really more concerned about the streets than I am about the track. I am constantly made fun of and critisized by ******** with mustangs and I need something to bring to the table. I'm sure a bunch of you have done dx swaps and I just would like some opinions. Thank you....you can view my car at http://www.twistedcustoms.cjb.net

Thank you
Shay

Imo If you can afford it, definitely go B18C. Stock for stock, it won't be much faster in the quarter mile, because of the 10 hp difference. But it will be MUCH better on the street. Also, the B18C has the potential to make MUCH more power with less mods than the B16A. Use the search this has been covered...

I say do both. Have a GSR block with B16 head and you have what is called a Poor Man's Type R. Really fast.
