Default Powertech 4-1 Header

Anyone here have a PowerTech 4-1 Header ? I just ordered one and will have it on Wednesday.

It has a 2.5" collector and is ceramic coated.

I have heard from numerous people that powertech is a cheap aftermarket company. I hear the welds on those headers are total weakness... It cheap man.. why dont you just save up a tad bit more for DC headers? You will only get the quality you pay for.

They list for $389.

... and 140$ isn't enough for me to come crying back

Anything is better than my cracked cast iron manifold.

But I will definitely come back and tell you how good they looked on the dyno. Peace.

What about the Mugen header? I read somewhere that the Mugen header is cheaper than the DC headrer. How do those two compare?

My DC sports header sucks. The welds on it was not perfect. I couldn't tighten one of the bolts. I definetly would not buy DC again.

From what ive read on here, DC is the worst header u can buy...I have yet to figure out why. Greddy SS is supposedly the best, I had Gredy but was gonna switch to DC SS.

I bought mine brand new. I called DC up and they wouldn't not listen to me. This is clearly a factory defect b/c the welds wouldn't allow me to tighten up the header. That is my personal experience.

Ohhhh... so you don't have "personal" experience with DC. I didn't want to bust your bubble before, but DC sports is CRAP and it doesn't have the collector size I want.

I would rather take a chance with a new header that has the specs I want and only spend 140$ than buy a peice of **** DC which I already know is crap "through personal experience".

I'm really sick of people talking out their *** and giving opinions on things from "what they've heard" and not through their own personal experience. You remind me of someone that memorizes every super street magazine just so you can sound smart on Honda-tech.

Post something good or don't post in my threads at all, you're just wasting everyone's time.

I highly doubt a "real" mugen header would be cheaper than a DC. You might be referring to a knock off.

Excuse me *******, you have no right to go on a rant about someone you dont even know. You asked for an opinnion on powertech headers and I gave you mine. Honda-tech is about sharing information wether it be from personal experience or another person's experience. I have been on here long enough to tell you the concensus of "Powertech". People have told me these Powertech (which are the same as OBX and MEGAN and etc generic brands) crack in a year. Someone even mentioned that they lost 3whp on it. Sometimes you get someones personal experience on here and sometimes you get here-say.. live with it *******.. its all still credable information.. I wouldnt be on here for so long if I wasnt giving out good sources. I had a DC header on my GSR and can tell you that it was worth its weight in steel.

Whatever you say Super Street BOy! You started on me, not the other way around. If you dish it.. take it. Your comments were trying to discredit me and I'm giving it back to you. I'm not the *******. You are. I've read ALOT of your posts on here and they all make you look like a know-it all *** and you don't know ****! So do us all a favor and shut the **** up.

I'm done arguing with an immature kid.

LMFAO.
