block heater ??
ok so im looking at a link someone posted in the ITR forum and i see they hava block heater for sale only 30$ how does it work and does anyone have any pics

The heater is a resistance heater...kinda like a curling iron that you stick inside the the block.
It threads into the engine block coolant drain behind the header.

The two biggest disadvantages are that it doesn't do jack for heating the oil, so it still takes longer for oil pressure to climb to fast idle max, and the other is that I wouldn't recommend it for use with forged pistons. I've got bore clearance issues, and it actually starts quieter when I don't plug in the heater, but it'll diesel for a second or two every time when I plug in the heater.
I run an Accusump, so the first issue really isn't an issue for me, but the second one can be.
