Default Inline Pro Manifold and EGT gauge Question

I was wondering those who have the inline pro manifold and an EGT gauge do you have it directly in the manifold or in the down pipe? My only concern is drilling into the cast piece. If anyone has any pics or anything it would really help me out. I'm not sure if I want to drill into the manifold.

Thanks

Edit: Finished Product!! Thanks

I drilled into runner #3 on my old Inline Pro SS Manifold. About an inch away from it. It took a couple of drill bits That manifold is strong

You want to drill it about 1.5 -2 inches from the head on the # 3 runner.

It is cast stainless steel, so make sure you have a good tap set from craftsman or reputable places. The cast SS is hard to drill and tap, use a drill press, so you will get a straight hole in the runner. Use plenty of oil of WD40 or even your lover's lube oil while you're doing it.

End of discussion..lol
