Re: (as_fast_as_u)
you can't change the fact that the metal is an inferior alloy and way too thin of a gauge to begin with. It's still gonna crack with those braces, but at least now your turbo won't fall off completely. good luck though

when the manifold gets hot, those braces will brake off. happend about 3 times to my buddy.
you really wanna brake up the turbo. brace the downpipe down to the block the it is from the factory. these things will still crack.
good luck

You need a brace from the block to turbo. The turbo should be able to sit on the brace with it's full weight on it. Then attach the manifold. All manifolds will crack, this one just does it very very fast.

Bracing
Bracing the turbo flange to the head flange will do dick all. It will still break. You need to do as previously staated and brace the TURBO to the BLOCK
Bolted to oil inlet flange

yeah, thats my setup. It's been on for a little over a year now without any problems. The brace attachs from the stock AC mount bolt hole to one of the 4 bolts on the turbine housing and is adjustable by adding more washers to the bolt to releive more weight.

Re: Bracing (200cs)
i braced mine like those pics up top. i have my turbo sitting like that too, putting a huge moment on the top of the runners next to the flange. but nothing has broke or cracked yet. and have put like 7000 miles on it, beating the living crap out of my car. I even heat wrapped it, which some say is bad for it. but i have had no problems yet and have seen it turn birght orange on numerous occasoins

Screw that. I'd take a real manifold like my new one over any SS Autochrome, OBX, ETC Manifold
