Default Manifold Runner Question

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to make each runner of a long runner equal length manifold out of one piece of tubing? I'm thinking of making a new manifold for my car and I have access to a mandrel bender, so I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before. The collector would probably be a Burns or something similar to that.

well what is the range on the bender?? , and radius of the bend that you want?? if they are all with in what you need then go for it , iam assuming that this will be made from like 16 gauge thin wall tubing , cus i dont think you could mandrel bend 8 gauge, but yeah it should turn out nice ,

Yeah 16 gauge tubing is what I was thinking. Not sure on the bend radius etc. that it can handle or would be needed but I'm still in the research/planning stages. By the way, I'm not sure but I think it may be a CNC mandrel bender as well.

It looks like the hytech k20 manifold uses single pieces

are those housing insulators shown in the picture really worth it?

They surly worth it when the turbine housing is placed so close to the firewall, like in the RSX, since the exhaust is firewall side...insulating the housing prevent fire, to my point of view though...

Kranked.

$350 for a headshield haha

It'd be cheaper to swap in a b-series lol

the welds have been polished

if you want to make a manifold out of a snigle bend similar to a DC each ebnd needs to be of the same rdius and the bends usually need 3-4 inches in between
