OverHeating, High engine temp when idle
Hey everyone, I have a 95 ls and for some reason ever since the weather has started warming up my cars engine temp goes almost to the over heat line. But when I rev my engine it goes back to normal temp. In addition to this, when my car is on an incline the temp goes was up again. I changed my thermostat, and the antifreeze level is fine. I dont get it... Oh yea, I saw steam when I turned my car off but I could have hit a puddle, but it doesnt seem like its near the head gasket. Thanks to anybody who posts a suggestion...
rad fan switch relay thingamajig
have you checked if the fan comes on? that's most likely the problem (that or the motor is shot-electric motor i mean)

Ya know what... I never thought about that, and maybe it could be clogged heater hose? Ill check that motor and that thingammajig switch lol, thanks alot...
clogged heater hoses will not cause a healthy car to overheat.
If this is only happening at idle check your fans, relay, and thermo switch. If it is happening all the time, pull the radiator and have it flow checked.
