I spliced into my o2 sensor for my air/fuel gauge and everything was working great for a couple months, then the other day in the rain the car started to stall and the check engine light came on. I got a primary heated o2 sensor code. Now the car is hesitant and the air/fuel gauge is acting wierd. Do I need a new O2 sensor or what do I need to do?? PLease help...

 

Check your connections. It'd be best to solder the connections and then cover them from the elements using heat shrink or something.

 

Reset the ECU, run the car and see if it continues. If it does, you will most likely have to replace the O2
