CTR vs. ITR 5lug conversion?
hello guys.
i have a 2000 Civic CX hatch, and i am planning on doing a 5lug conversion...
i was wondering if you can tell me the differences were between a Civic Type-R conversion and a ITR conversion.
thanks.

depends on the years i know the 96 civic type r was 4x114.3 but the 99-00 is 5x100, and the ITR is 5x114.3. i am basing my info off of other retailers products on thier web sites
JDM ITR 96-7 specs R 4x114.3 same sized brakes - 15" wheels
USDM/JDM ITR/CTR 97-01 5x114.3 used standard Civic/Integra axles (32mm) - 15" wheels
JDM ITR 98-01 SpecR 5x114.3 (rear identical to above), front used 36mm axles nuts and specific axles (outers joint) - wheels were also 16"
for ease of maintnace the USDM ITR and JDM CTR would be the way to go. no need to deal with special axles or bearings. 96 spec setup IMHO is not worth the money, better to stick with the GSR/Si setup which offers same brake size with less hassles (ie rotors)

The US ITR 5-Lug is the same as CTR 5-Lug except for the rear LCA's I beleive. The JDM 5-Lug is slightly different as mentioned above. If you re-read the detailed explanation from eg6ajk you'll see that.

All CTRs were five lug, and the early ITRs were four lug.

just to add some info..
98+ JDM ITR 5lug with 36mm axle nuts use 97+ prelude axles, they are the same thing as B series 32mm inner and 36mm outer doh. so no need for special axles.

Same as US ITR so incorrect. Should accept B-series axles fine.

So if i were to keep my current rear control arms (on my 96 integra) and just swap out the 4lug hubs for the ctr 5lug hubs, i should be fine? im just making sure before i buy anything.

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but here is my situation, and i was wondering if you HT guys can give me a hand.
I have a 2000 Si(Ex in US), and i plan to do a 5 lug off a 98 USDM ITR. I've been told this is not a direct bolt on. Would the axles off the ITR bolt right in, or would I need different ones? What is different off the ITR that I would need to bolt into the EK? Thanks in advance for the help guys.
