Hey I just bout a 99 gsr earlier today (rolling chasis) and i was wondering if a 94 gsr engine would drop right in and all electronics would match up. Has anyone done or helped do this swap before. Any help would be appreciated. tia

99 is obdII, 94 is obdI, engine will drop it inself cept the wiring harness is different.

 

it can be done. Just drop the motor in and use a jumper harness to an obd1 ecu. depending on where you live it might be illegal though.

 

Or you could use an OBD-2 engine harness, swap the injector plugs and distributor over from the 94, and then it will drop straight in.
