to all the type-r owners
who would win ?
RXS type-s vs IT R
(stock) (intake)
type R would win!
I can prove this^^
juss let you guys know that we are faster no matter what.
even with stock intake type-r would win for sure.
but let you know if you have dc sports ...your R will be slower and it won't run like R. so keep the stock intake or get the cold air intake and u will be straight

Convince the guys at Car and Driver that our car is no 15.2 car and that will matter more than individual testing.
Until then, we are suppose to be a slower car..........
Put it this way.....we all want Honda/Acura to make some money off RSX, so we can have better quality cars that's yet to come.
Or wait......will less RSX sales = faster coming of RSX-R? If so, boyz and girrlz, let the whoop *** on RSX begin!

i test drove a rsx type s and it ****** blew. it was really slow my type r would kill it. I dont know about those cars, not only are they ugly but they are slow as hell.
I want to test out an RSX for myself before making comments on it. I sat in one at the dealer this weekend for the first time (non Type S). I didn't fit with the sunroof. The dash was kind of weird, and I don't really like the gauges. I need to take one for a real test drive.
I personally love the R from head to toe. From it's carbon fiber trim, to it's killer engine. It is a true race car. Unlike the competition that can only be race-bred. Anything in the Honda stable can be respected, so there shouldn't be any competition amongst the ITR and RSX. Both are fast, reliable cars. But if you must compare, there's no denying the ITR's legacy. For the longest time, the R was feared on the streets as one of the fastest 4cylinder imports. The ITR didn't get this reputation for no reason.
it all depends on the driver
-Aoib0t, who had crappy results in the AutoX but honed his skills in the fun runs! I'll get you Mazda Protege! Just you wait!

One of my previous posts a long time ago:
"Went to the Dealership yesterday to get my 1st scheduled oil change. While I was there I ran into the guy that sold me my R and I asked if they had an RSX Type S I could take out. He said sure and threw my friend and I the keys. The car had 2300 miles on it at the time. I initially didn't like the stance, body lines etc. The interior didn't do it for me at all either(not that our R's are the lap of luxury or anything) I normally like updated futuristic type Styling, but the interior seemed odd and just wasn't real smooth at all IMHO. I actually did enjoy driving it, had it out for atleast 30 minutes. Very smooth ride, pleasant engine noise, smooth power, clean shifting gearbox and firm feeling clutch. Besides the gearbox I really liked the midrange power I felt between 2K and about 5K RPM's. I like the car overall, a good comfortable ride, with power right there when you need it. I easily chirped the tires going into 2nd and 3rd shifitng at a whopping 6500 RPM's!
Likes: Tranny, clutch, linear power band, comfortable ride
Dislikes: Both interior and exterior styling
Just thought I'd post my experience. But I do consider myself lucky to have the Type R and wouldn't trade it for anything at this point.
