RSX typeR not coming??
have u ever wonder why doesn't japan have RSX type S, they have the base model, we have the base model. They have the TypeR , we have the Type S!!

That's a good question. I never really noticed that before. Are you positive they don't have the S over there? Regardless of that, have some faith. I'm sure it will find its way over here eventually. I keep hearing 2yrs. That's what everyone, including the acura dealers say.

I have heard othe wise i heard it will be a awhile due to the fact the american economy is still coming back from our little decline a while back
Japanese auto manufacturers have to go through alot of $hit to get a car hear. It takes 26months just to get a car cleared by the govenmant and then it goes through 3 months of crash and emissions tests, not to mention the fact the Japanese make more money off the cars they sell over there shipping and meeting emissions and saftey standards and still staying low priced is hard to d the profit margin shrinks

car salesmen dont know jack... dont listen to them... throw sticks at them
i swear... u mention b18c in the acura dealership and u get one guy in the back that knows its an integra motor!
forget about my local honda dealership now... the guy says what do u need... i say a 99 civic si driver side motor mount... he's like ok... what car do u have (dummy me) says 97 hatchback... he's like ok... lets look up 97... i told him they didnt make it then... still he checks... i just told him forget what car i have... I NEED AN SI MOUNT!
lol... its funny when i go to the acura dealership with my civic though... people look at me their like what the hell am i doing here with a civic... the honda dealerships down the road... well one time i met someone there that actually knew their stuff... and the service manager came out and was asking all stupid questions... some service manager huh?

Acura's marketing VP reported "it's likely we'll see a Type R" on our shores He was referring to the RSX. He didn't specify a time frame, but indicated crash testing and emissions testing had to occur before importing such a car.
