Default ran at the track yesterday(d16z6)

i went to the track for my first time can you guys help me or give pointers on how to lower my track times. only mods to the car is intake and open header, tires were falken azenis with about 23-25 psi on the front. the car is a d16z6 92 si. i know i could do better.

Reaction: .530
60ft: 2.349
MPH: 83.390
ET: 16.242

try leaving your exh hooked up see if you need that back pressure

alright thanks next time i go to the strip i'll try it with my exhaust bolted on see if that makes any difference. any other advice

You'll here this everytime you ask about a timeslip but 60' is very important. A 2.3 isn't terrible but there is definately room for improvement.

You're reaction time is damn good, not that it helps ET, but if you bracket race thats good.

Overall it seems pretty good. Before I went boost I hit a 15.8 with my d16z6 in my si... You can do the same if you keep practicin.

VERY important. It's an old rule of thumb that for every .1 you take off of your 60', you take .2 off of your ET. Sometimes it holds true and sometimes it doesn't.

I went from a 14.2 @ 98 to a 13.6 @ 99 just with drag radials and a better 60'.

true, but exaust velocity isnt so try running full exaust or a 2' race pipe for exaust velocity
