Default easssy question

I was always told that not all d16z6 valve covers say VTEC on them, is that true ? Because the stupid HAYNES manual says if it doesn't say VTEC on it, its not A VTEC!

no it's not true. i've got a z6 that does'nt say it. i dont think the vx motors say it either?

My vx motor says VTEC-E right on the valve cover.
