Default Hi

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would take peaty on me. I just recently bought a 1998 Honda Civic HatchBack DX. Im wanting to do a engine SWAP, but i have no idea what engine to put in my HATCH. I was thinking of doing either: b18c5, h22b2, b22b6, or a d16az6 but that stuff means nothing to me lol. I mean i dont know anything about imports. I want to learn every little thing i can but no one where i live really knows anything about imports either. I'm wanting to learn every little thing i can and if anyone can answer a bunch or questions to get my going in the right direction. First im wanting to get an engine swap but i dont know which engine is best for my car. I'm wanting the biggest baddest engine i can find with the most modifiable engine out there. I want the engine that i put in to have the highest stock BHP or HP as possible say 220 hp to 320 hp stock. I was wondering is it possible to do twin turbos or a Supercharger and single turbo on a honda. I'm sry for the xtremely long post im just looking for help and hpe someone out there that could give me a little help if so pls contact me at

I recommend learning the car before you go crazy modifying it. An autocross would be a great start.

What are your plans and budget?

Use the search, and look type in: "motor swap" or "swap" in the EG forum, and you'll get a lot of threads, with great info. As with anything, don't believe everything single thing you read, but for the most part, there's some excellent info at your fingertips.

SEARCH will be your friend if you want them on here. I would not buy any I mean ANY aftermarket part without doing imense research here on HT. Figure out a goal for your car (street, 1/4 mile, auto x, etc.) then, figure out your budget. Once you do those two things, research some more and buy parts. I would try the classifieds on HT for some good deals.
