Should I go with 16 inch wheels, or stay with 15s?
Are there any noticable benefits to ugrading to 16 inch wheels? Does your car get "transformed" to the point that it handles and corners much better than before? I am thinking, maybe I should just a get a cheap, decent set of wheels for the track, like Kosei K1s, and keep my stock rims for the street. I just realized how expensive the stock rims are, and maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to use them as track wheels.
But if 16s offer noticable benefits, than I'd upgrade for the street, but still keep the stock rims with R compounds as a track package.

stay 15". a 15x7 is the only wheel you need for any integra or civic. short of pure asthetics, IMO there is no reason to get another size wheel unless you are trying to stay in a stock auto x class. but most people mod, so it throws them out of stock anyway, so they might as well upgrade their wheels.
Ditto, George.
I have 16" Regas, but should have went with 15" due to the weight factor. Don't get me wrong as I love my wheels, but would go with 15" if I could do it all over again.

I personally like my 16" wheels...I know the tire selection isn't as good, but I'm happy w/ my Azenis for now...
Besides, when I get my spoon calipers, they will bolt right on

I would go w/ 16x7" rims. I mean, you already have 15x7" stock rims... what's the point of having two 15" rims? (Ok, don't even get started on it weighs less...
) If you want lightweight 15" rims, get those Rota Slipstreams or Mazda Millenias (both 12lbs) for under $400 and then get a set of nice 16x7 to cruise around.

Heh, by next spring i'll have 3 sets of 15s (stock, steelies, and rotas) and my volk 16s for the street. I only went with the volks in 16 becuase you need spacers for the 15s (i've since found out that a 15x7 will fit stock), and because that little part of me wanted a bigger wheel...i've actually changed a little since then, and would probably have done 15s...but i love my volks
Gotta have a set for autoX, a set for track, and the steelies for winter. Volks will remain street, which is fine, because racing eats tires and tires are much cheaper in 15s. As someone mentioned, there's no real need to go 16 unless you have bigger brakes...the reduced size of the sidewall can make the car feel like it has better turn-in, but tires like the Azenis have such a beefy sidewall that it doesn't reall matter. And lighter weight rules.....granted, a forged wheel weighs less than dense rubber, so the bigger the wheel, the less weight you might have, but they get so damn expensive in larger sizes....and you certianly don't wanna get so big that you have to worry about denting the very expensive wheel.

don't the Real Time cars use 17" ssr competitions?
correct me if I am wrong. But, unless you autocross alot, I wouldn't feel bad about getting a bigger wheel. The RTRs must use them for a reason . . .

like everyone said, tire selection is
for 15's.
16's aren't so much but as long as they make my Yoko A520's
in 225/40-16, I am happy
I use 16's for AUtoX and streets. I may go back to 15's someday.
