super charger or CTR cams?
I have a friend that has a super charger "JR" and i know a guy that has a set of CTR cams "brand new" .....and im not sure which one i should get.....which one would be the best investment??
Depends on how good of a deal and what you want to do to your car. I would go with the SC since it is going to give you quite a noticeable gain in hp over a cam. The supercharger could later be upgraded with intercooler and pulley (if he doesn't already have those) for even more power.
in my opinion superchargers heart the dick.... 2 of my friends superchargered there cars and both always had ssomesort of problem or just would have been happier goin turbo... that was in an ls and a prelude sh

All Motor Guys!!!! All Motor is better!!! LOL but Forced In. is aight I guess....but it just feels better after you whoop some Smart *** V8 owners *** and he cant say "You cheated!!" You can just say Thats all HONDA MOTOR *****!! LOL
well think of it this way...if you can get the s/c for cheap get it and re-sell it...the money you get for it you can get cams, gears, springs, valves, retainers.
FI setup:
If you're looking for a quick and easy, moderate hp gain, then you're going to want the supercharger; however, if you are looking for a more long term build up and higher hp gain then you'll want a turbo.
ALL motor:
CTR cams aren't going to give you a large, noticeable hp gain. You'll have to spend a lot more money on everything else as well to get good numbers out of an all motor setup and then you'll realize that you wasted money on the CTR cams and you'll want something with a more aggressive profile.

No they are not the same, bolt pattern is different as the sc is different too.ls uses the smaller one (m45) instead of the m60 for vtec engines
