Default I couldn't go to school this morning

I went to go start my car up this morning. Push down the clutch and started it and when i went to take my foot off the clutch stayed down...?? i had to call my girlfriend to come pick me up. I drive a 94' with 78k miles. I bought the car used so I do not know when the clutch was last replaced or even if that is the problem.. Anybody know whats up??

First thing I would do is check your clutch fluid, but it sounds like either tensioner or cable. Good luck and go get your learn on
