timing belts - same or different among honda motors?
ok guys, i have a b20b motor right now. my timing belt snapped the other day, and i am unsure if some of the timing belts among honda are the same or not. i'm going to swap my itr head on my motor soon, but i'm not going to get a water pump, so therefore, i pretty much need the same belt.
so what i'm wondering is, are the b20 and ls timing belts the same, or different? i don't know which belt i was using, but i need one or the other soon so i can put on my head.
ls = crv belt?
which belts are the same if there are some....

I don't know which ones are the same and which are different, but I do know the rule of thumb is to use the same timing belt as water pump... So what ever water pump is in there now (B20) than use a B20 timing belt... I'd suggest upgrading to a VTEC waterpump and timing belt...
well, i wanted to get an itr waterpump later on when i built the motor more (pistons, resleeving, etc), but thought i could hold off until summer without a water pump. what do you think?? what are the grand benefits of getting a water pump versus not getting one? --> especially with a b20/vtec
