Here's what you're going to need:

Turbo
Manifold
Downpipe
Intercooler
Wastegate
Blow Off Valve
Oil Feed Line
Oil Return Line
Lots of Vacuum Line
Intercooler Piping
Silicone Hoses
Hose Clamps
and finally Very Good Engine Management

If you do some research and find some good deals and maybe some used parts, you can put a great kit together and have it tuned for less than $2000. Putting together a custom turbo kit is no simple matter though. Expect to be sitting in front of a computer doing research for a good many hours before you come up with a solid plan though.

Remember that engine management and tuning are most the important obstacle to overcome. And don't buy your manifold off of ebay.

I referenced Engine Management. This means fuel, ignition, and all necessary sensors. My recommendation is a Hondata set to read boost, A Walbro intake fuel pump, and some turbo DSM fuel injectors with a resistor box.
