TPS signal only at 2.3 at closed?!?!
ok my car boggs a little bit just about 1500-2000 rpm, would my tps signal only reading at .2xxx at closed have anything to do with it? i have a non obd b16 in a crx, with a vafc. and no i havent had the vafc tuned. at wot the reading is about 4.3 and closed its .2xx so im not sure what to do to fix this.
so would the tps signal cause the car to bog? OH and its running rich, pretty rich actually. thanks for your help.

wussup man. the way that i usually change a tps is by taking off the throttle body, and then use a dremel tool to make straight lines in the rivet like bolts that hold the tps in. The tps is actually help in by screws but they look like rivets. try doing what i said and use a flat head screwdriver to get the screws out.... good luck...
Before you go replaceing the entire TPS first do as everyone has said (if you have a dremel) slot the rivet/bolts and take them out with a slot... I normally replace them with normal phillips head screws as they are a lot easier to work with... But once you get it loose, try rolling it a counter clockwise (if you were looking at the TPS from the firewall) and measure your output voltage with a DMM at the same time... If you can get it up right to ~0.45VDC then that's all you need and you should be set... Sometimes they do go bad and you'll need to replace them, but this is a lot easier to do first... Good Luck
EDIT: If you don't have access to a Dremel tool or something that can slot the bolts, I've had luck in the past just using a small pair of vise grips... If you take this route take your time and it should come off, if not then you'll need some other sort of tool...

kataku2k3 makes good points. I would definitely try 'adjusting' TPS sensor first before replacement.
Also, if no Dremel or vise grips, can use small hammer and small chisel and tap them in counterclockwise rotation to loosen them. Then I too would replace them with small phillips head machine screws.
Definitely worth a try first before replacing.

Of course with VAFC not tuned either, this can definitely cause lack of performance/acceleration, sluggish, etc.
Would suggest proper tuning once TPS sensor set to spec.
Just a thought ...
