Swapping Pistons
What's Up, this is my first topic on here so bear with me. I have an LS-VTEC in my 92 hatch and was considering upping the compression. Here's my setup
B-18a block 2.0 liter
B-18c head
knife- edged crank
crower rods(not econo)
JE pistons ~10.8CR
full REV valvetrain
Crower stage 2 cams
intake
header
My question is can you swap the pistons for more compression( I was thinking about 12.0:1) without balancing the whole bottom end since the motor only has about 1,000 miles on it. It was built as a mild setup and now I want to get more out of it.
I already searched, but didn't find an anwer to my question. Any replies would help. Thanks
